Teresa P. (Scampato) Frank, 96, Fair Lawn Resident

FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Teresa P. (Scampato) Frank, of Fair Lawn, died Thursday, June 30. She was 96.

Born and raised in New York City, she lived in Fair Lawn for 67 years. A parishioner of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Fair Lawn, she was a member of the Rosary Society for 50 years and a member and past president of the Third Order of St. Francis. She was also a member of the Fair Lawn Senior Center. She was an active member of the Christian Health Care Center daily activities for many years. 

An avid walker, she enjoyed family gatherings, gardening and vacationing in Copake Falls, N.Y.. She became a licensed practical nurse late in life and was a practicing LPN before retiring.

She was the widow of the late Frederick Frank; mother of Fredrick Frank and his wife, Joanne, Richard Frank and his late partner, Rick, Thomas Frank and his wife, Jane, Ann Opirhory and her fiancé, Bob Struz, William Frank and George Frank; grandmother of Jennifer, Maggie, Chris, Ryan, Scott, Emily, Colin, Peter, Mark, Kevin and Coleen and step grandmother of Shannon, Chrissy, Jason and Rebecca; great-grandmother of C.J., Eric, Jimmy, Mia; sister of Mary Ceraso and her husband, Pat, the late Pauline Ceraulo and her husband, Paul, the late Jimmy Scampato and his wife, Nene, and the late Rose Gardella. 

Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, handled the arrangements.
